Similar to MX-3 but contains duel magnification by turret mounted twin objectives which can be easily changed. Model MX-6T has x10 and x30 magnification and model MX-7T has x20 and x40.
The MX series is a range of stereomicroscopes that combine durability with value for money. The MX series microscopes are particularly suited to photomicrography. All models have inclined binocular heads for ease of use. The eyepieces and objectives may be varied to extend the magnification by changing the eyepieces. All binocular heads have dioptric adjustment and the interocular distance can be varied to suit the individual. Coarse focus is by pillar adjustment with a robust rack and pinion system providing fine movement. Rubber eyecups and a dust cover are provided as standard.
The MX-6 and 7 has a raised base accommodating both incident and transmitted illumination systems. The stage has a reversible black and white stage plate together a frosted glass plate for use with transmitted illumination. Can be converted to Gemscope via the dark field attachment plates and gem clamps for conversion into cost effective Gemscopes.
The accessories available for all MX models includes, additional eyepieces, micrometer eyepieces, 35mm SLR and Digital photography attachments, CCTV adapters and carrying cases.
